My Wish List

I’m really enjoying the creation process of this whole podcasting thing. Even for a podcast that releases an episode every two weeks, like mine, there’s a whole heck of a lot of work behind the scenes! It’s easily the same hours as a part time job, except for zero pay. Yup. Zero. I do it because I love it, because I find it meaningful. And the occasional fan mail that comes in just melts my heart.

I’m super accustomed to people not “getting” me. When I tell a funny joke and my husband doesn’t laugh, it makes me laugh harder. What can I say, I’m my own advocate! But when someone gets me or what I’m actually trying to do with this podcast, I’m floored. I feel vulnerable. And loved. For a moment or an hour or a day… I FEEL the intangible thread that connects us all, and it feels amazing.

One of the most challenging aspects of doing the podcast so far — and maybe it’s because we’re still in our fledgling stage — is that I have all these ideas and topics that I’m chomping at the bit to talk about, but I can’t find guests who are willing to bare their souls and speak their truths, for whatever reason. I’m not judging. People have their own paths to walk and I respect their decisions. It’s not easy. It makes me even more grateful to our brave guests who put themselves on the line and make themselves vulnerable. They all have one thing in common: they want others in their position to know that they are not alone.

That is the spiritual mission of my podcast. To tell people, one-by-one, You Are Not Alone.

To that end, I have a “Wish List” of guests/topics that I would LOVE to have on the show (in no particular order):

Armenian Vegan (or vegan bodybuilder)

This is by no means an exhaustive list. If you think you’d make a great guest on our show or have a topic you would like to hear discussed, please drop a line and let us know!
